Are you a Panel Wirer or similar, looking to join a stable and forward-thinking manufacturer offering long-term security, early finish Fridays, great team culture, and access to specialist training and overtime opportunities?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client, a long-established electrical equipment manufacturer based in Leicester, with over 100 years of engineering heritage. They design and manufacture high-power resistors used in power generation, industrial automation, the Middle East, and Asia.

In this hands-on production role, you'll wire control panels and sub-assemblies from technical drawings and schematics, working on industrial load bank systems within a skilled and supportive manufacturing team. You'll also carry out basic electrical testing and mechanical fitting tasks, helping to deliver robust, high-quality products to a global customer base.

This role would suit a Panel Wirer or similar to join a growing, supportive company that offers job security, early finish Fridays, and the chance to develop your skills.

The Role:

Wire control panels and sub-assemblies to general assembly drawings and schematics
Carry out mechanical fitting, including drilling, tapping, and punching
Wire between components and fit fixtures securely
Perform basic electrical test and inspection
38 hours/week: Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:15, Friday 07:30-12:30 (some flexibility available)The Person:
