Electrical Technician

Position: Electrical Technician

Salary: £35,000 - Depending on experience

Location: Cambridge

Proactive are currently in search of multiple skilled Electrical Technicians to start work immediately for a client of ours in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity working for a world leading manufacturing company, offing ample opportunity for career progression and development.

The main focus of this role will be to ensure all products are built to the required safety and quality standards, performing electrical testing and commissioning the product using safe systems of work and completing the sign off process in accordance with the manufacturing schedule.

Principal Responsibilities

To undertake electrical assembly of our products to the required processes, safety and quality standards
To undertake testing, adjustments and completing the signing off processes.
Providing support to the Electro-Mechanical Technician colleagues in the product build process if needed
To test and maintain products on behalf of R&D from time to time proving feedback to help develop and improve new and existing product range.
To help with the training of less experienced colleagues in electrical commissioning techniques to required safety and quality standards.
To become familiar with, uphold and adhere to company processes, policies and procedures.Knowledge and Experience

Basic experience of PLC systems.
Should possess a wide base of engineering skills including electrical, electronic and mechanical
Experience with testing and fault finding - Desirable
Testing of PCB's - Desirable.How to Apply:
