We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.

This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer sites, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent customer satisfaction.

This is a varied role and that will see you providing shift cover, responding to breakdowns at multiple sites and carrying out preventative maintenance on material handling and storage retrieval systems, conveyors, packaging machinery, robotics etc while assisting with installations and projects predominately at, but not limited to, Distribution Centres. 

You will need to be a strong communicator and to be able to integrate with resident teams at our clients sites ensuring that you are representing Imperium Automation in a professional manner at all times.
 
As a business we offer 24/7/365 reactive maintenance support to our clients and you will need to offer a degree of flexibility to ensure we meet their expectations.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this Field Service Engineer Role

NVQ Level 3 or Apprentice Trained Electrical / Multi Skilled 
Good understanding of PLC's 
Experience of working in Automated Distribution Centres
Sound awareness of risk assessment, method statements, permits and working safely.
Strong problem solving skills
Experience with liaising with customers in a professional manner 
IPAF trained an confident working at height, confined spaces 
Confidently work on your own and with customer resident engineering team Benefits of this Field Service Engineers role

Salary £45,000 (40 hour week contract) OTE @£65,000 
Paid Door to Door
Overtime at 1.5
