  • Deliver prototype builds and production-ready manufacturing documentation.

    What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in digital hardware product design.

  • Hands-on experience with AMD SoCs/FPGAs, including firmware integration.

  • Skilled in designing high-speed, high-density multi-layer (10+) PCBs.

  • Proficient with PCB and circuit simulation tools (e.g., LTSpice, Allegro, ADS, Hyperlynx, HFSS, CST).

  • FPGA development with Verilog/VHDL.

  • RF circuit design or DC/DC power supply design experience, an advantage.

  • Scripting with Python, Tcl, or Perl, an advantage

    What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: Rewarding your skills and experience.

  • Career Growth: Lead exciting projects with opportunities for professional development in a globally recognized industry leader.

  • Supportive Environment: Collaborate with a passionate, purpose-driven team dedicated to advancing space exploration and communication.

Veterans in Robotics: A Military‑to‑Civilian Pathway into Autonomous‑Systems Careers

Introduction From bomb‑disposal droids rolling through Basra to AI‑driven picking arms inside Ocado warehouses, robotics has already transformed how we fight wars and fill shopping baskets. The UK Government’s Robotics & Autonomous Systems (RAS) Roadmap 2030 predicts £100 billion in annual economic impact and 260,000 new jobs by the end of the decade. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) mirrors this growth with programmes such as Project Theseus (autonomous last‑mile resupply) and NavyX Autonomy Accelerator. Veterans—battle‑tested in remote‑handling, mission planning, and safety protocols—have precisely the mindset employers need. Whether you piloted EOD robots, maintained UAVs, or orchestrated logistic convoys, you already think in joints, sensors, and control loops. This guide shows you how to translate military experience into civilian robotics roles, tap MoD transition programmes, and secure a rewarding career at the cutting edge of automation. Rural-Remote Robotics Jobs: Innovating Beyond the City Limits

A Fresh Outlook for Robotics Professionals When people think of robotics, they often picture cutting-edge labs in large tech hubs, vast manufacturing floors near industrial centres, or start-ups clustered around major cities. However, the rapid evolution of remote and distributed work—in tandem with advancements like edge computing, cloud-based simulation tools, and improved connectivity—means that more and more robotics professionals are finding they can live outside the urban sprawl. At RoboticsJobs.co.uk, we’re witnessing a surge of jobseekers and employers embracing rural or coastal settings. Why the shift? Robotics projects, once inseparable from big-city infrastructure, now often rely on digital collaboration tools, cloud-based design simulations, and remotely accessed testing platforms. In other words, location constraints are loosening. This article delves into the rise of rural-remote robotics jobs, the advantages of leaving the metropolis behind, and how you can carve out a successful robotics career while enjoying the perks of countryside or coastal living. If you’ve ever typed “tech jobs by the sea” or “robotics remote countryside” into a search engine, you’re not alone—and this guide is for you.
