About the job you’re considering​
IP Core Transport Specialist (NEWBURY/HYBRID)
An IP SME with proven working experience in ISP/Telecom networks.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.​

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: ​identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)​

Your role
o Cisco Router (ASR 9010, ASR1000, ISR, Catalyst 8500) and switches (Nexus 9K, Catalyst 3K) configuration and fault management
o Juniper high end router (MX960) and switches (EX8208, EX9208) configuration and fault management
o Nokia (SR7750) and switches configuration and fault management
o HPE12000, HPE5000 series router configuration and fault management
o F5 and Juniper (SRX4800/ SRX5800), FortiGate (1500D), Cisco (ASA5545-X) firewall config and fault management
o User Management using Cisco ISE, Windows AD and Linux based systems.
o Troubleshoot issues and outages.
o Excellent communication skills
o Analysing service request, change request and test environment requirements received from Lab users (Project, domain, operations, test team, vendor and 3rd party).
o Adopt Live HLD and LLD for lab environment and implement.
o Building test environment, Integration of core network with another test network element.
o Producing Environment Design Document (EDD) for Service request.
o IP Allocation, IP Design and IP Communication Matrix Preparation
o Regular sync up and meeting with core domain design and operations team.
o Ensure Service SLAs are met for all service request, Change request and environment issues.
o Documentation of domain EDD and lab Architecture diagram and store them with HLD/LLD on share-point.
o Maintain domain nodes hardware/IP inventory.
o Support new node installation and integration.

Your skills and experience
o Minimum CCNP or higher certification.
o Working experience in ISP/Telecom network.
o Excellent working knowledge on above mentioned Cisco / Juniper / Nokia / HPE PEs devices to configure IP/MPLS, BGP, VRF, LDP, ISIS, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP, Static Routing, Gig, 10G, 100G interfaces, IPSec, AAA, ACL, QoS.
o Excellent working knowledge on Cisco ASR1001, Catalyst 8500 to configure IPSec, NAT, DHCP, ACL
o Excellent working knowledge on F5 Load-balancer to configure VIP, SNAT, iRule, policies, interfaces, static routing.
o Excellent working knowledge on above mentioned Juniper SRX, Forigate Firewalls to configure IPsec, NAT, firewalls policies, Logical System, Security zone, objects, user authentication, static and dynamic routing (OSPF/BGP).
o Excellent working knowledge on Cisco Nexus 9K, Catalyst 3K to configure VTP, STP, RSTP, Ethernet, BVI, DHCP.
o Experience on Infoblox DNS configuration
o Working knowledge on Windows AD and Linux Servers for user management, access control and service management.
Good to Have
o Understating of NFV and Kubernetes Physical and Virtual Environment
o Understating of HPE C7000, SYNERGY, DL380, Dell M1000E, R740 Chassis Architecture
o Knowledge of VMWare products like ESXi, vCenter, vCD, NSX-T, vROPS, Log Insight, TCA.
o Knowledge of Cisco and HPE Storage network and SAN device configuration.
o Citrix Server Management
