The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced HVAC Specialist to Manage our dynamic team and lead our technical standards development and continuous improvement plans. This is a strategic role where you'll drive innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence across our entire estate.

Location: This is a regional role, however you will be required to attend the Welwyn Garden City (Head Office) occasionally for meetings

Your Impact

As our HVAC Engineering Specialist, you'll:

Spearhead the development of cutting-edge HVAC standards, focusing on energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies
Lead strategic planning for new stores, capital replacements, and decarbonisation initiatives
Drive innovation in HVAC systems, including plant equipment, air handling units, and control infrastructure
Collaborate with industry experts and stakeholders to deliver world-class engineering solutions
Analyze system performance and develop data-driven improvement strategies
Champion sustainable technologies and cost-effective solutions that align with our environmental commitments

What You Bring

Engineering or relevant qualifications
HVAC Design & Technology experience
Proven expertise in commercial HVAC applications
Strong background in HVAC project design and specification writing
In-depth knowledge of current HVAC industry standards and legislation
Demonstrated experience in sustainable HVAC solutions

Desired Qualifications

Mechanical Engineering Degree
IEng (Incorporated Engineer) accreditation
CEng (Chartered Engineer) status
Active involvement with industry bodies
