Injection Moulding Setter

Due to continued growth, a leading manufacturer of plastic products is seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Moulding Setter / Technician to join their team. This role will be responsible for maintaining production volumes whilst ensuring high levels of quality.
This company has experienced year on year growth, with recent investment in new state-of-the-art machinery and expansion of the site.

Up to £37,000, Monday to Friday

As Injection Moulding Setter / Technician, your duties will include -

• Carry out tool changes, material and colour changes
  
• Condition setting of machines
  
• Ensure all robotics and ancillary equipment are in operation
  
• Recommend modifications/ improvements to increase productivity, improve quality and/or reduce waste
  
• Trouble shoot processes and correct as necessary with documentation as required
  
  To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter / Technician, the ideal candidate will -
  
• Be an experienced Injection Moulding Technician or Setter
  
• Be able to carry out condition setting, and have knowledge of various materials
  
• Have experience of trouble-shooting moulding issues
  
• Have a strong interest in lean manufacturing / process improvement and want to help take the business forward.
