Maintenance Engineer

A leading manufacturer located in Redditch is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician on a three shift basis.

As Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician you will ensure that all machinery is kept in a full functional and operational by way of Planned Preventive Maintenance.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

*Providing rapid response to all breakdowns within the plant, as well as performing Planned Maintenance activities

*Maintain and improve OEE for equipment on systems and manage and maintain Planned Preventative Maintenance system.

*Insure preventive maintenance of all machinery and coordination of required spare parts

*Contribute to TPM process, looking for continual improvement within maintenance area.

*Record consumables in appropriate systems

The successful candidate will:

*Prepare process equipment for start-up after a period of down-time (weekend or factory shutdown)

*Prepare process equipment for shutdown and maintain robot process set-up

*Be apprentice trained and hold suitable qualifications, 16th/17th Edition, electrical fault find, PLC’s (S7)

Candidates should also be able to demonstrate excellent awareness of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Fabrication.
