Job Overview: Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician with supervisory experience to join their team.

Remit:

  • An excellent opportunity for a proven Injection Moulding Technician to secure a stable position with a forward-thinking injection moulding manufacturer.

  • This role will suit an experienced Mould Technician with good leadership skills and supervisory experience.

  • Applicants MUST HAVE several years’ experience with setting, conditioning, maintenance and process optimization of injection moulding machines and knowledge of a wide range of materials.

    Role:

  • As Mould Technician Supervisor you will be responsible for running the shift.

  • In the role of Mould Technician Supervisor, you will be expected to ensure the continuous running of injection moulding machines at optimum cycle times to produce quality products.

  • The successful Mould Technician Supervisor will fulfil all aspects of machinery tool changes from hanging the tool through to the use of programming software and setting up robots to provide the optimum cycle time.

  • Responsible for end to end quality control of the manufacturing process.

  • Carry out a handover with the previous shift ensuring all production issues are fully understood.

  • Ensure all paperwork and information is available and being used correctly by all Operatives.

  • Ensure all housekeeping standards are maintained to a high level and highest level of Health & Safety compliance is maintained.

    Experience:

  • Industry recognised injection moulding qualifications

  • Good knowledge of injection mould tooling, processing and machinery

  • Knowledge of a wide range of materials

  • Self-motivated, positive and proactive

  • Can-do attitude

  • Good supervisory and leadership skills

  • Strong communication skills
