We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company in Poole. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the efficiency and reliability of production equipment.

Role Details:

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer

Location: Poole

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Shift Pattern: Panama shift 12 hour days and nights

Department: Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.

Ensure all engineering work meets safety, health, and environmental standards.

Support production teams with technical expertise to maintain efficient operations.

Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system.

Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Follow engineering drawings and update documentation when necessary.

Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Requirements:

Recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Level 3).

Experience working in a maintenance/engineering role within a manufacturing setting.

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Good understanding of production processes and manufacturing equipment.

Desirable Skills:

PLC knowledge (Siemens S7, Mitsubishi).

Experience with inverters, robotics, and safety regulations
