Purpose of the Role:

You will operate machines and tools to create products following detailed instructions. You’ll also check and finish products to a high standard.

Main Responsibilities:

Operate machines and equipment such as:

Loading/unloading hangers and drying racks

Operating VA robot and 1500 robot

Rodding and bracing

Using the autoclave and push-through furnace

Stage 60 washing

Follow instructions from managers and technical documents.

Understand materials and how they affect the final product.

Share your knowledge with others and help train colleagues.

Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies.

Support quality checks to ensure high standards.

Complete any other tasks as needed.

Experience Required:

Experience in casting, automotive, steel, or aeronautical industries.

Skilled in using overhead cranes, forklifts, and abrasive wheel machines.

Previous manual labor experience.

Ability to read and follow technical instructions.

Able to work under pressure with strong attention to detail.

Good communication and computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.

Good vision (corrected with glasses/contact lenses if needed).

Comfortable with walking, standing, pulling, climbing, and kneeling as part of the job.

Hours of Work: Days

Week 1 Mon - Thur 5.30am - 1.45pm Fri (5.30am - 11.45am) 
Week 2 Mon - Thur 2.00pm - 10pm Fri (12pm - 7.05pm) 
Rate of pay:

£13.59 to £15.20ph
