The role comes with excellent benefits to include 25 days holiday plus stats, employer contributory pension scheme and private healthcare. You will be working rotating 12-hour days and nights withing a large team of Engineers, at one of our flagship sites.

Swisslog enable skilled and experienced Military Engineers, with current or recent practical hands-on experience within a maintenance or repair environment, to transfer these valuable skills to the Automation Industry. The Role

  • Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include wrappers; pallet conveyors; packaging machinery; pallet stacker cranes, autostore and robots.

  • To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices.

  • Prioritise system faults.

  • To ensure quality of output at all times.

  • To accurately record all work undertaken.

  • Involvement in continuous improvement projects.

  • Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.

    The Person

  • An apprentice trained engineer or equivalent qualification.

  • Experience of working with automated machinery is ideal, however it is not essential as training will be provided.

  • Happy to work at heights.

  • This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
