ROBOT WELDERS NEEDED IN CHESHIRE!!!

Do you have previous experience working as a Robot Welder, or are you someone who has some limited MIG Welding & Fabrication experience who would like to gain more experience within a thriving Engineering business?! If so get in touch with me today as we are recruiting for several Robot Welders to join an Engineering business based in Sandbach on a straight permanent contract.

The business offers a £2,000 signing on bonus (which is a staggered payment) and they also offer regular overtime opportunities paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours.

The working hours will initially be day shifts Monday to Friday (39 hours per week), but will then move onto a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift Monday to Friday.

An initial hourly rate of between £13.00 - £14.00 per hour will be offered whilst on days, but you will then be offered an hourly rate inclusive of shift allowance once you've moved onto the rotating shift pattern (£15.00 - £17.50 per hour).

We are looking for MIG Welders and Fabricators who have experience with MIG Welding, Spot Welding, Robot Welding or Fabrication and have previous experience working with Mild Steel.

What You Will Do:

Responsible for the setup and operation of computer-controlled machines/robots to perform one or more machine functions on steel products.
Measure dimensions of finished product to ensure conformance to customer specifications using measuring equipment, templates, and fixtures.
Set up jobs whilst robots are in operation, ensuring efficiency and quality.
Work across different shifts, including a rotating shift pattern, to meet production needs.
Utilise state-of-the-art software for both CAD/CAM & business operating systems from enquiry right through to dispatch.
Contribute to the team by ensuring all operations are controlled and status updates are accessible at any time.

Proven experience in operating computer-controlled machines or robots in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and quality assurance.
Flexibility to work across different shifts as required.
