Site Engineer – Permanent Position
Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Project Type: Residential Groundworks & Civils
Duration: Long-Term Scheme (Up to 10 Years)

Salary: Around £50,000 + Package (DOE)

Are you a Site Engineer looking for long-term stability and the chance to grow with a reputable regional contractor?

We’re working with a well-established and forward-thinking Midlands-based contractor who specialise in groundworks, civil engineering, demolition, and highways. With a strong client base and a healthy pipeline of work across the region, they’ve secured a major residential development in Coalville that’s set to run for up to 10 years.

This is a permanent opportunity offering excellent continuity, the backing of an experienced team, and the chance to contribute to a flagship scheme from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:



Setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, and infrastructure

*

Quality assurance, as-built drawings, and maintaining accurate records

*

Working closely with site management and subcontractors

*

Ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to specification

*

Providing engineering and technical support on site

What We're Looking For:

*

Experience in residential groundworks and/or civils projects

*

Proficiency with robotic total stations and interpreting drawings

*

Strong understanding of drainage, sewers, roads, and 278 works

*

CSCS card and relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/Degree or equivalent)

*

Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
