Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: On-site – Milton Keynes
Day Rate: £350 – £350 CIS

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Site Engineer to join our team on-site in Milton Keynes. You will play a key role in delivering residential and infrastructure projects to the highest standards. Our Engineers are seen as the beating heart of our operations – and first in line for career progression within the business.

Key Responsibilities



Setting out for groundworks and infrastructure projects (e.g., S278 works, roads, drainage)

*

Ensuring technical compliance with drawings, specifications, and client requirements

*

Managing and interpreting construction plans and ensuring project milestones are met

*

Supporting the Site Manager and Project Manager in coordinating site activities

*

Maintaining daily records, quality checks, and reporting progress to senior management

*

Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and design teams to solve engineering challenges

*

Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to on site

Required Experience & Qualifications

*

Proven experience in a similar role within the civil engineering or groundworks sector

*

Competent with setting out using robotic total station and GPS equipment

*

Understanding of CDM, method statements, risk assessments, and QA processes

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

*

Valid CSCS card
