Job Title: Structural Engineer (Graduate to Senior Level)

Location: Glasgow (East)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Office based

Salary: Negotiable, dependant on experience

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our clients growing Glasgow office. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a Graduate Engineer with 1-3 years of experience or a more experienced Senior Engineer with 4+ years in the industry. The ideal candidate will be working towards Chartered status or already Chartered (CEng MIStructE or MICE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structural engineering designs across a variety of building projects.

  • Undertake structural analysis and prepare detailed calculations and reports.

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to develop integrated design solutions.

  • Conduct site inspections and assessments, including structural surveys and reporting.

  • Contribute to project planning, resource management, and client communications.

  • Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development (for senior applicants).

    Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng preferred).

  • 1-3 years (Graduate) or 4+ years (Senior) of relevant UK-based experience in structural engineering consultancy.

  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of Eurocodes and British Standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ambition to achieve Chartered status or already Chartered.
