The client is an established and leading specialist in the design, build and installation of automation systems, machinery and robotics. They are seeking to recruit a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator for their operations in Alcester.

Benefits of working with the company are;

Hours of work are typically 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 2pm Friday.

Pay rate - £13-£16 per hour.

Overview
The client is seeking a skilled Aluminium TIG Welder to join their operations in Alcester team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding aluminium materials using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques, ensuring high-quality, precise welds for various projects. You will work with aluminium components to fabricate metal structures and applications.

Duties and responsibilities
Perform high-quality TIG welding on aluminium materials, ensuring strong, clean, and aesthetically smooth welds.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand specifications and welding requirements.
Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and consistency. Maintain and apply welding standards to meet industry requirements.
Prepare and assemble materials for welding, cutting, and grinding aluminium parts, ensuring alignment and proper fit.
Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate protective gear, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Some duties operating 125T press brake and a fibre laser machine.

Qualifications and experience required
Proven experience as a TIG Welder, with expertise in aluminium welding.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and materials.
Some experience of using a press brake and laser cutting machinery.
Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
This role is based in Alcester, however the company will be relocating next year close to Cheltenham so this vacancy would suit someone from the Evesham, Pershore, Tewkesbury.
