Acorn by Synergie is currenty recruiting for a vacancy for a Skilled Injection Mould Condition Setter with a driven and ambitious attitude.

The successful candidate would be required to work as part of a technical team in a busy and fast paced injection moulding shop floor environment. The company operates a 24/7 production schedule with 16 injection moulding machines including Negri Bossi, Engel and BMB ranging from (Apply online only) ton press size.

The day to day role would be:

Carrying out mould tool changes as per daily schedule (avg 5-8 tool changes per day)
Process and adapt conditions to produce quality approved components
Complete settings paperwork
Use of overhead gantry
Use of robots to include six axis robots
Responsible for Health and Safety procedures while setting the machines
Ensuring and assisting in always maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Handling of heavy and expensive tooling

The successful candidate would need to be competent in process knowledge as well as a good understanding of automation and process and technical trouble shooting.

Working hours and pay

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5.00pm (However, the demands of the business may require you to stay on until 5:30pm+ so flexibility would be a requirement).

Overtime would be paid over and above the normal contracted hours of 47.5hrs per week

Salary between £34k - £38k per annum - this is dependent on experience.

Other information

You will be required to join an on-call rota after the initial 3-month training.
