I’m looking to speak to talented Mid-level Data Scientists who would be interested in joining a leading financial services company near Guildford. You will be working in small Data Science team, on green-field projects. They are still at the early stages of their Data Science journey so you will have the opportunity to influence their approach and the models they are building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms across their business

  • Have input to data analytics and retrieving data from a Snowflake Data warehouse

  • Transforming financial data into actionable insights

  • Implementing Generative AI tool for optimising business processes.

    Requirements:

  • 3 years of demonstrable data science experience with a range of models.

  • Strong Python and SQL skills

  • ETL, data warehousing experience - SnowFlake

  • Machine learning expertise (scikit-learn, TensorFlow)

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field

    Technical Skills:

  • Data tools: Pandas, NumPy, Spark, Airflow

  • Databases: SQL/NoSQL

    Details:

  • Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days remote)

  • £55,000 - £65,000 + good benefits

    Location: Guildford area, Surrey
