NVIDIA is advancing the next phase of Physical AI by developing technologies that help robots, autonomous systems, and intelligent machines perceive, recreate, and operate within the world. We are seeking a passionate, world-class computer scientist to contribute as an Applied AI Researcher on NuRec-related research in world reconstruction and generation. Fascinating and demanding work is assured!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and adapt Deep Learning-based methods for NuRec world reconstruction, novel view synthesis, generative image and video modeling, scene completion, and neural rendering

  • Apply your extensive knowledge of Deep Learning tools and methods, 3D Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, and simulation

  • Prototype experimental solutions with Python, PyTorch, modern DL frameworks, and AI tools for fast RnD iteration

  • Improve the realism, consistency, and controllability of generated scenes, especially for viewpoints and trajectories beyond the originally captured sensor path

  • Build evaluation and agentic AI-assisted research workflows for quality triage, regression detection, experiment automation, and faster model iteration

  • Work with a team of researchers and developers to turn promising research results into robust, usable technology

What We Need to See:

  • PhD from a leading university in an engineering or computer science related field and 1+ years of experience, or MS (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong knowledge of contemporary ML/DL algorithms and architectures along with hands-on experience addressing real world challenges using Deep Learning.

  • Solid grasp of contemporary methods in Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, neural rendering, or 3D reconstruction.

  • Solid understanding of Python and PyTorch.

  • Excellent math skills.

  • Strong work ethic: self-motivated and able to receive constructive feedback. Integrates well into work and is an excellent teammate. Shows a collaborative and cooperative attitude. Understands and appreciates schedules and deadlines.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Publications in top-tier Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Graphics, or Robotics venues.

  • Experience with image/video generative models, world foundation models, 3D Gaussian Splatting, NeRFs, differentiable rendering, or feed-forward scene reconstruction.

  • Experience with autonomous systems, robotics, synthetic data generation, or closed-loop simulation.

  • Experience using agentic AI tools to accelerate research, experimentation, evaluation, or productization workflows.

  • Strong knowledge of C/C++/CUDA, software development, programming techniques.

Some travel may be required for conferences and other events (1 - 2 times per year)

With highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology industry's most desirable employers. We have some of the most experienced and dedicated people on the planet working for us. If you're a creative and autonomous computer scientist, we want to hear from you!

Robotics Jobs in the UK: Roles, Skills, Salaries and How to Get Hired (2026 Guide)

Robotics Jobs UK 2026: roles, salaries and skills for engineers and researchers in manufacturing, logistics, autonomous vehicles, defence and healthcare. In the UK, most robotics jobs cluster around hubs such as London, Cambridge, Bristol, Oxford, Manchester and Edinburgh, with common titles including Robotics Engineer, SLAM Engineer, Controls Engineer and Mechatronics Engineer. The most efficient way to browse live robotics jobs is via specialist boards like RoboticsJobs.co.uk, which curate roles specifically in this field so you are not lost in generic tech listings. This guide covers everything you need to know about robotics jobs in the UK in 2026, from the roles and skills in demand to where to find live opportunities and how to stand out as a candidate.

Where to Advertise Robotics Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise robotics jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards, university channels and community routes that reach robotics, SLAM and controls talent. The candidate pool spans mechanical engineers, software developers, controls specialists, computer vision researchers and systems integrators — a multidisciplinary mix that general job boards are poorly equipped to reach. The strongest robotics candidates are often embedded in research groups, defence programmes or advanced manufacturing environments, and move between roles through specialist networks and industry events rather than mainstream platforms. This guide, published by RoboticsJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise robotics roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
