Still stuck designing stuff that never makes it off the drawing board?

Tired of building software that lives in a test rig, never touches a robot, and doesn’t actually do anything? Here's your way out.

This role? It’s real. Tangible. You’ll write the software that talks directly to moving machines, robots, sensors, safety systems, the whole lot. Your code will live in physical systems that assemble, test, and deliver automated kit for global manufacturers. No fluff, no corporate nonsense, just proper engineering with real-world consequences.

They’re an automation specialist with proper heritage and a stack of awards to back it up. But don’t expect stuffy boardrooms or red tape - this is a team of engineers who’d rather be hands-on than stuck in planning meetings. They’re scaling fast, and Dublin’s next on the map.

Why it’s different (and better):

You’ll be on the frontline - scoping solutions, selecting hardware, designing full control systems

Cross-discipline work with mechanical and electrical teams, not siloed in the software cave

Full-cycle exposure - from idea to commissioning and fault-finding

Everything you build gets tested in-house and sent out into the real world

Hybrid Working - They're very flexible. Some days you'll be needed in the office for Customer Meetings or FAT's, other days you can work from wherever you like!

What they actually do (minus the buzzwords):

They design and build custom automation systems for serious manufacturing challenges. We're talking safety-critical kit, advanced robotics, and high-spec control systems for companies who can’t afford mistakes. If something needs to move precisely and reliably, they’re probably building it.

What’s in it for you:

Autonomy - you’ll shape projects, not just tick boxes

Ownership - you’re not a code monkey, you’re a problem-solver

Variety - robotics one week, motion control the next

Progression - plenty of room to grow, learn, and lead

Gritty tech challenges - legacy upgrades, cutting-edge platforms, debugging in the wild

You’ll smash it here if:

You’ve worked with PLCs, HMIs, motion control, and robotics - or you’re keen to

You can read a schematic without Googling half of it

You’re the kind of engineer who’s curious, collaborative, and hates half-arsed solutions

You’re comfortable in the chaos of a fast-moving build environment

You know your way around Rockwell, Siemens, or similar platforms

You’re practical, straight-talking, and give a damn about getting things right

Sound like a bit of you?

Drop your CV or hit me up for a proper chat - no cover letter needed
