Recognised across the industry for delivering innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges, our client has built a strong reputation for excellence in the design and development of advanced automated machinery.

Thanks to a growing order book and long-term project commitments, they are now seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join their experienced, multi-disciplinary team.

This is a hands-on engineering position ideal for someone who enjoys working on high-performance automated systems, both in-house and at customer sites.
You'll be involved from the development and commissioning phase through to on-site installation, testing, and customer support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Commission and develop bespoke automated machinery and systems

  • Troubleshoot and fault-find control and safety systems during testing and at customer sites

  • Develop machine processes to meet performance targets

  • Program a range of industrial robots including 6-axis, SCARA, and Delta types

  • Perform servicing and modifications of electrical and mechanical systems

    Experience Required:

  • Commissioning machine control systems and support development of automation processes

  • Performed testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

  • Ensure electrical and safety systems comply with relevant UK and international standards

  • Able to deliver operator training at both the company’s site and customer premises
