Controls Engineer

Salary DOE + Overtime | 25 days holiday + bank holidays | Early finish Fridays

I’m working with a leading specialist in bespoke automation machinery who are expanding their controls team. This is a great opportunity for a Controls Engineer with a solid foundation in PLC/robotics who wants to progress their skills on complex, high-value projects across multiple industries.

The Role

Programme PLCs, HMIs and robots (Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, KUKA, Fanuc, Yaskawa).

Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to deliver complete automation systems.

*

Support design reviews, FAT/SAT commissioning and operator training.

*

Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and technical documentation.

What you’ll need

*

3–5 years’ experience in automation / controls engineering.

*

PLC/HMI programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell RSLogix, WinCC).

*

Exposure to robotics, vision or special-purpose machinery.
