Are you a Design Team Lead from an automation, manufacturing background or similar, looking for an opportunity to take the next steps of your career by making the role your own through building the team and influencing the design process across multiple sites?

On offer is a brilliant role within an innovative business who have been operating for over 40 years across multiple sites. They specialise in offering bespoke manufacturing processes and solutions for food processing and FMCG industries. Their experienced design team requires a breath of fresh air to help bring their teams together to improve business operations.

In this role you will take charge of the design teams across multiple sites but usually be based in one location. You will be responsible for handling teething issues between sites during this period of growth, standardising processes and introducing new ideas. This is a Monday to Friday site-based position that will require travel every 6 weeks to visit other sites. All travel is paid for as well as accommodation for the occasional overnight stay.

This role would suit a Design Team Lead or similar with a background in FMCG or similar cleanly environments looking to play an influential part in a successful and growing business.

The Role:

  • Manage a talented team of design engineers across multiple sites
  • Help to drive innovation and introduce new ideas
  • Evaluate and improve current processes
  • Monday to Friday working 39hr weeks

The Person:

  • Design Team Lead or similar
  • Prior knowledge of processing, weighing and conveyors/distribution systems
