Engineering Surveyor

Gortmore are looking for an Engineering Surveyor for an Earthworks project in the Inverness area.

The Candidate must have:

• Previous experience of working on projects as a Land Surveyor.
  
  
• Must be proficient with survey software (LSS, Trible business centre) and able to produce accurate volume calculations.
  
  
• Must be able to carry out As builts and produce findings on Auto Cad.
  
  
• Must have excellent Knowledge and be extremely accurate in using GPS Robotic EDM’s and Plumb lasers.
  
  
• Must have previous experience working with machine control i.e. Trimble, Leica, Top Con.
  
  
• Manage and ensure QA documents are completed correctly.
  
  
• Must be competent in reading drawings.
  
  
• Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
  
  
• Maintain daily site diary.
  
  
• Have problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues
