We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic External Sales Engineer to join the team at Stockport and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company, developing long-term customer partnerships while driving sales growth across a wide range of industrial automation products.

The Role

As an External Sales Engineer, you will:

Develop new business opportunities by providing expert technical advice and tailored customer solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Identify customer requirements and help prepare accurate, competitive quotations.

Manage your own workload effectively while achieving sales targets and company objectives.

Stay up to date with the latest products and technologies within the industrial automation sector.

Deliver excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Experience in a sales role within the Industrial Automation and Control industry.

Strong technical knowledge of automation and control products.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.

A results-driven, customer-focused approach.

Good IT skills.

The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
