Field Service Engineer

Role: Field Service Engineer (Metrology)
Location: Derbyshire
Shifts: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm / Friday 8am - 3:30pm
Starting Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience)
Annual Earnings: £41,750 - £55,000 p/a
Overtime: 10hrs per week (Average)

  The Role: Field Service Engineer
  
• Home based, customer facing field service engineer.
  
• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair.
  
• Perform regular preventative maintenance and services.
  
• Decommission, move and re-commision of CMMs.
  
• Retrofitting and re-build of CMMs
  
• Upgrade and installation of CMM software and hardware.
  
• Verification and calibration of CMMs.
  Entry Requirements:
  
• City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship.
  
• 5 Years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally within Metrology, CMMs or Dimensional Measurement.
  
• Electrical and Mechanical skills required with a competency in fault finding and repairing machinery.
