Are you a Financial Controller or similar with experience working within an Engineering business, looking to take on an autonomous role where you will play an integral part for this company that will continually invest back into you and your career?

You will be managing monthly / annual payroll, providing counsel to the board on the current financial position of the company and provide guidance to the board in supporting the short / long term success of the company.

This role would suit an experienced Financial Controller or Finance Manager who is a natural leader and has great communication skills that is looking for an exciting new opportunity to be a part of a well-established and rapidly growing company.

The responsibilities:

Overseeing and managing monthly / annual payroll activity
Legal Submissions and requirements of a finance function
Reviewing VAT transactions and filing quarterly VAT returns.
Financial modelling for forecasting, variance analysis and budgeting
Overseeing the work of other finance colleagues
Provide guidance to the board in supporting the short and long term success of the companyThe person:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
Experience in an Engineering environment or within practice
Experience using SAGE software
