Are you a recent graduate with a passion for robotics, software testing, and emerging technologies? We’re looking for a motivated and curious Graduate Verification & Validation Engineer to join our growing robotics team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge robotic systems, helping ensure our software and hardware perform reliably in real-world environments. You’ll collaborate with engineers across software, autonomy, and robotics teams while building valuable experience in testing, validation, and product development.

This role will require you to be onsite in Wallingford, Oxfordshire 5 days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Verification & Validation team, you will:

  • Support the testing and validation of software used across our fleet of robots
  • Help develop and improve testing procedures for both hardware and software systems
  • Capture, analyse, and benchmark test data to measure robot performance
  • Use AI-powered tools and prompting techniques to extract insights and metrics from test results
  • Create clear and standardised testing processes for areas such as autonomy, data capture, and platform functionality
  • Assist with validating and approving software releases before deployment to production
  • Work with cross-functional engineering teams to improve software release workflows and version control processes
  • Support regular software release cycles and testing schedules
  • Help assess new features, verify bug fixes, and contribute to continuous product improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • An interest in software testing, hardware validation, or quality assurance
  • Familiarity with robotics, autonomy systems, or data capture technologies is beneficial
  • Exposure to testing tools, automation, or scripting is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced technical environment
