A leading injection moulding business that is looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their expanding team. Supplying products across various market sectors for blue chip clients. The company has invested heavily over the last 5 years with further plans to grow in the future.

Benefits & Hours of an Injection Moulding Technician

A Rotating 3 shift pattern (6-2, 2-10, 10-6)
Competitive pay and ongoing development available for the successful candidate.
Ability to support with overtime during busy and holiday periods.
30-35k (DOE)

Key Responsibilities of an Injection Moulding Technician 

Set up and adjust injection moulding machines and equipment according to established procedures to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with moulds and machines and make effective repairs or adjustments as necessary to ensure production goals are met.
Perform tool changes and mould maintenance activities to prevent production downtime and ensure product quality.
Ensure that production runs are completed on schedule and that products meet or exceed customer specifications.
Monitor and maintain the quality of products throughout the production process, performing in-process inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Train and supervise production personnel to ensure that they understand and comply with established procedures and protocols.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including production schedules, machine maintenance logs, and quality control reports.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe and productive work environment.
Key Requirements of an Injection Moulding Technician

A minimum of 5 years' experience as in injection moulding, experience in a leadership role would be an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of the injection moulding process, including tool changes, machine maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise production personnel to ensure high-quality and efficient production.
Experience with a range of materials with both hot runner and cold runner systems.
Experience with quality control procedures, including in-process inspections and corrective actions.
Strong computer skills, with experience using production software and Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and to meet production deadlines.
Strong commitment to health and safety protocols, with a proven track record of promoting a safe and productive work environment.
Experience with 3 axis / 6 axis robots.
