Junior Quality Engineer

Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading advanced engineering business in Oxfordshire who are looking for a Junior Quality Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with early experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering who is keen to develop their career within a cutting-edge environment.

The company operates at the forefront of innovation in composites, robotics, and additive manufacturing, delivering specialist solutions across automotive, aerospace, defence, marine, and heritage sectors.

The Role

As a Junior Quality Engineer, you’ll support the quality function across multiple projects, ensuring products and processes meet the highest standards. Working closely with experienced engineers, you’ll contribute to inspections, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities



Assist with quality assurance processes and the development of inspection standards.

Carry out inspections, collect quality data, and report findings.

*

Support the investigation of non-conformities and implementation of corrective actions.

*

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality systems.

*

Contribute ideas to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

What We’re Looking For

*

Some experience in a quality, manufacturing, or engineering environment (placement, apprenticeship, or entry-level role).

*

A relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or similar.

*

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

*

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

*

Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a high-performance engineering environment.
