Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

A global engineering and manufacturing company—a first-tier supplier of key components for the commercial vehicle, off-highway, and heavy industrial sectors—is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to support its world-class production facility.
You’ll work with a small team of engineers and play a key role in ensuring minimal production downtime through effective maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement of advanced manufacturing systems.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide breakdown support and preventative maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems

  • Lead and support Maintenance and TPM Engineers

  • Fault find and repair on CNC machines, robotics (Fanuc), PLCs, HMIs, and servo drives

  • Support new machinery installations and upgrades

  • Maintain accurate job sheets and ensure maintenance records are up to date

  • Promote health & safety, 5C, and TPM best practices

✅ Requirements:


  • HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or higher)

  • Minimum 5 years maintenance engineering experience (electrical bias)

  • Strong knowledge of:
    *
    Electrical fault finding & diagnostics
    *
    PLCs (programming & troubleshooting)
    *
    Fanuc robots, servo motors & drives
    *
    CNC machinery (mechanical and electrical aspects)

  • Ability to read electrical drawings

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Flexible to work double day shift pattern + support weekends/shutdowns
