Maintenance Team Leader

M-Tec Engineering Solutions is working in partnership with a high-volume manufacturing client to recruit a Maintenance Team Leader.

As Maintenance Team Leader, you will lead a three shift-based maintenance team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance activities across production equipment. You'll be responsible for supporting uptime and driving productivity.

Further Responsibilities include:

*Supervise and support a team of maintenance engineers across a 3-shift rotation.

*Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, minimising downtime.

*Lead Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.

*Modify existing PLC code when required and support wider automation and controls issues.

Ideally candidates will have the following skills and experience:

*Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership maintenance role.

*Electrically biased with strong mechanical fault-finding skills.

*Hands-on experience with:Robotics, PLC programming and modification (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley)

*Background in high-volume manufacturing within an FMCG sector

*Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
