Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We're looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a large FMCG manufacturing site. This is a highly automated, high-volume environment where engineering is central to performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The role is ideal for an engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias who is proactive, forward-thinking, and motivated to drive improvements-not just maintain operations. The site benefits from ongoing investment in modern machinery, automation, and engineering development, providing a strong foundation for long-term career progression.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring production and packaging lines run at optimal performance. Working closely with both production and engineering teams, you'll deliver effective reactive maintenance, carry out planned preventative maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing reliability and reducing downtime.

Essential Requirements - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

  • Multi-skilled maintenance background (electrical or mechanical bias)
  • Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with both PPMs and reactive breakdowns
