Industrial robotics for medical applications in a cross-discipline environment

Working at the forefront of industrial automation for medical applications, this company are seeking a principal-level developer with experience of industrial robotics to lead a cross-discipline team in an Agile environment.

Working from conception to delivery, you’ll apply your technical skills, leadership ability and project management skills. You’ll consider integration of robotic systems under your purview into a larger product platform with architectural alignment.

You will have:

  • Extensive experience in commercial-grade industrial automation and robotics projects to scale. This will include safety-critical systems, control systems, network protocols and machine vision.

  • Worked extensively with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), developing robot arms with multiple degrees of freedom and using ROS 1 or ROS 2.

  • Strong skills in Python and ideally C++ or C#.

  • A good technical degree qualification in a relevant subject.

    This role is full time and based in the company’s Cambridgeshire offices. Full existing work permission is required without time limit or sponsorship. The benefits package includes bonuses, an enhanced pension contribution, private medical care and other perks.
