We are currently hiring a Robot Welder for an industry leader in the Building Services sector. Your hours will be Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:30 Friday 07:00-13:30.

Competitive rates of pay based on experience. with overtime available at 1.5

Key Responsibilities:

Read and fully understand the drawings for each project.
Welding a range of pipe arrangements from shop drawings, primarily using GMAW techniques.
Weld pipe sets for various pipe diameters (typically carbon steel ranging from 125mm – 500mm) from shop drawings.
Ensure company welding procedures are adhered to and Welding is carried out to the correct standard.
To undertake training in line with company standards.
Ensure Company H&S Processes followed.

Requirements:

Essential:
Experience Programming, Setting and Operating a Robot Welding Machine in an Engineering Environment.
To have an in-depth knowledge of Weld Defects.
Experience efficiently troubleshooting and resolving problems that may arise during the welding process.
The ability to interpret welding procedure requirements.
Confident in understanding shopfloor drawings.

Desirable:
Previous experience as a Welder, producing a wide range of pipe arrangements with either TIG/MAG.
Previous experience within a heavy fabrication, architectural steelwork or welding environment
