An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a wellestablished, independent civil and structural engineering consultancy in Liverpool with over 40 years' experience delivering practical, sustainable and innovative solutions across the built environment.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, peoplefocused environment and is looking to take a lead technical position while working on a varied portfolio of projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, healthcare, education and leisure.

The Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:

Lead structural design and delivery from concept through to construction

Own project performance, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to a high technical standard

Work closely with clients, architects and contractors to develop practical, commercial solutions

Oversee detailed structural analysis and design across a range of materials and systems

Review and approve calculations, drawings and technical documentation

Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians

Attend and lead client meetings, site visits and design reviews

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Is Chartered (or working towards Chartership) with IStructE or ICE

Has strong experience in a UK consultancy environment

Has a solid understanding of UK design standards and Eurocodes

Is confident with structural design software such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot or ETABS

Has a proactive approach to project delivery and client engagement

Enjoys working in a friendly, supportive team
