Senior Structural Engineer

Warwick

First People Solutions is working with a leading consulting engineer known for delivering complex, high-hazard projects across sectors including Power, Life Sciences, Defence and Aviation. Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to work on genuinely challenging projects that go beyond typical consultancy work, within a business recognised for its stability and strong, supportive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering structural design on smaller projects or key elements of larger schemes

Preparing and checking calculations, models, drawings and specs in line with UK standards

Carrying out detailed analysis using industry software and supporting project progress updates

Assisting with bids, scopes and introducing practical, buildable and sustainable solutions

Supporting and mentoring junior engineers

Requirements:

Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng or IStructE)

Proven experience delivering structural design on complex buildings or infrastructure projects

Solid technical capability in steel, concrete, timber and masonry, including foundation design and structural assessments (dynamic/seismic experience beneficial)

Proficient in tools such as Tekla Structural Designer, STAAD, Robot or Tedds

Experienced working within multidisciplinary teams, with knowledge of BIM and Navisworks

Good understanding of CDM regulations and structural safety, with CSCS card, SC clearance eligibility and a full UK driving licence
