Account Manager (Coventry/Milton Keynes) - £40,000 - £45,000 basic bonus (£10k OTE), plus car, healthcare, childcare, pension

My client prides themselves on being your local technical distributor for control and automation.
You’ll be joining a growing organisation in the UK at one of the UK's leading distributors of industrial automation and control products.
They encourage development and progression both within individuals and in the business by constantly moving forward and are open to acquisitions that help to strengthen their skills and offerings to also provide the best for their customers and associates.

The Candidate

An opportunity has arisen for a talented Account Manager in the Worcester area, interested in technology and able to position commercially attractive and technically beneficial solutions to existing and new customers in the automation and control sector. You would be selling into a wide range of customers from small to medium enterprises up to blue chip companies.
You would be responsible for managing and developing sales within a territory typically of one or two counties with an existing customer base of around 50 accounts together spending around £2M.

As an Account Manager, you would decide the strategy and use the best resource to ensure great customer service. You will also find new opportunities by following up marketing leads and using your own networking skills and knowledge of your territory.

Based from home, you should be planning on visiting customers 4 days a week. You will be encouraged to use the industry-leading technical experience of our product specialists who will accompany you on visits where specific technical experience and knowledge is valued.

• It would be advantageous to have knowledge of automation & control, however, training will be given

Package
• Salary of up to £45,000 subject to skills and experience
