Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a leading provider of industrial automation products.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for industrial engineering products such as sensors, safety relays, machine vision, switches, vision software, and other industrial automation related products.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of industrial automation products such as PLC’s, sensors, flow meters, HMI’s, encoders, actuators, valves, variable speed drives, machine vision, and or similar industrial automation related products / components.

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Role

Focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for industrial engineering products such as sensors, safety relays, machine vision, switches, vision software, and other industrial automation related products.
Maintaining industrial automation engineering product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
Provide technical support of all industrial automation products / components and related projects.
Work remotely / field based with regular visits to customer sites across the South of the UK.
Liaise with various engineering departments. 
Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements

Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within industrial automation or related / similar products.
Will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of industrial automation products such as PLC’s, sensors, flow meters, HMI’s, encoders, actuators, valves, variable speed drives, machine vision, and or similar industrial automation related products / components.
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within Industrial automation / electrical Engineering markets.
Full clean driving license.
Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites throughout the South of the UK
