Hours: 37 per week; On a rotating pattern

Earlies – Monday to Thursday 6am – 2pm & Friday 6am – 1:30pm
Late – Monday to Thursday 1:45pm – 9:45pm & Friday 1:15pm – 8:45pm

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

Load raw materials and unload finished components, ensuring efficient machine operation and workflow.
Perform cutting, grinding, and drilling tasks as required, making precise adjustments to speeds, tooling, and machine settings.
Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures meticulously, including company standards and documented processes.
Maintain accurate production logs, documenting any equipment issues, adjustments, or repairs.
Conduct routine machine inspections to identify and resolve mechanical or safety concerns.
Ensure machines are properly stocked with tools and materials to minimise operational downtime.
Uphold a strong safety-first mindset, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your team.CNC Machinist Requirements:

CNC Milling:

Hands-on experience with Horizontal Machining Centres (HMCs) featuring multi-axis and multi-pallet capabilities.
Operation of full 5-axis machining centres for complex component manufacturing.
Skilled in using Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) with 3+1 axes functionality.
Familiarity with Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS) incorporating multi-pallet loading.CNC Turning:

Expertise in multi-axis Turn/Mill centres, including those with robotic loading integration.
Operation of 2-axis lathes with both bar-fed and chucking configurations.
Experience working with large chucking 2-axis machines.
Proficient in vertical 2-axis turning applications.
