CNC Maintenance Engineer - multi-skilled

A role has arisen for an experienced and multi-skilled CNC Maintenance Engineer who would like to work on new machines and develop robot automation expertise.
You will be trained on robots if you don't have this experience currently.

The role would suit a CNC Maintenance Engineer who works for a component manufacturer with lots of CNC machines and is capable of fixing them without manufacturer support.

Working on brand new CNC machines and robots
No travel
No staying away
38 hours week, daysThe role involves installing, testing and running up new CNC machines and robots before being dismantled and shipped to the customer.

The Role

Install and run up CNC machines and robots in factory and showroom
Faultfinding, mechanical and electrical interface work
Run up the machines, configure programs
Carry out test procedures and document findings
Write SOPs
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday 8:30am - 3:00pmRequirements

Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering level 3 - essential
Electrical knowledge essential
Fault finding, reading engineering drawings
Knowledge of one or more of the following controls: Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain
You must be a highly experienced CNC maintenance engineer at a manufacturer with lots of CNC machines.
Live locally already.
