CNC Applications Engineer - Fanuc

We are searching for an experienced Fanuc Programmer to full fill the position of Applications Engineer in the Automation team so will involve learning to program robots. You need to be a Fanuc Programmer with at least 5 years experience on 5 axis machines.

As an Applications Engineer will provide factory based and onsite customer training and setting up new machines for customers, so excellent communication skills are essential.

Applicants must live commutable distance to Warwickshire.

Although you will be predominantly based in the factory, you must also be willing and able to stay away from home Mon-Fri and travel UK as required.

Package

Salary £40K - £50K
Hybrid company car, fuel card, company credit card
25 days holiday + BH
8% pension, private medical, life assurance
Requirements

5 years Fanuc offline programming experience is essential
At least 5 years programming experience on 5 axis milling & turning machines
Level 3 apprentice trained - essential
Available to stay away Mon-Fri as required
Driving license The Role

Integrate robots with CNC machines
Setting up and program new robots to meet customer requirements, testing both in the factory and on customer sites.
Configure automated cells and complete customer pass-offs to prove out solution
Demonstrate and provide customer training
Working in the factory predominantly and also on customers sites as required throughout the UK
