Electrical Installation Engineer

£35,000 - £45,000 + Overtime, Allowances, Pool Vehicle, Annual Bonus

OTE £70k+. Overtime paid at premium rates.

Electrical Installation Engineer - The Role:

Fault finding and problem-solving in mechanical, electrical or software

Performing timely and accurate service in-house and at customer’s plants

Support with installation, commissioning, troubleshooting or repair to equipment

Installation and removal of original equipment, manufacturing machinery and conveyor systems

Software and program development for installation.

Commissioning and service of specialised line control and handling equipment

Managing multiple jobs at any one time, prioritising tasks as necessary

Supporting other engineers in the build processes within the workshop and on-site

Electrical Installation Engineer- The Person:

HNC/HND qualified in an Electrical Engineering discipline, Mechatronic, Robotics etc

Experience as a Service Engineer within an Automation environment

Experience in Electrical & Mechanical drawings (Eplan P8 and Autocad)

Experience in PLC Programming using Siemens Simatic step 7 and TIA (Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000 is a plus)

Commissioning experience in FMCG production lines is highly desired

SCADA programming (Siemens WinCC or Allen Bradley FTView) advantageous

Flexisoft design software (Sick) or PNOZ configuration software (Pilz) ideal

Willingness to travel 50% of the time – mainly UK projects

Have good project management skills to manage European Installation teams during larger projects

Candidates need to be local to Warrington. This position offers a challenging and busy position, with great development opportunities. Company are keen to promote from within and support on-going training and development.
