Electrician Supervisor 
Location: Midlands – Solihull, Castle Brom, Wolverhampton
Contract: Ongoing
CIS Available

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician Supervisor to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the supervision of electrical installations and modifications. This is a working supervisor role that involves ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical works while maintaining compliance with standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities of Electrician Supervisor

Provide working supervision to the Electrical Installation Teams
Directly report to the Principal and/or Lead Engineer.
Ensure the safe working of tradespersons under your supervision.
Ensure all personnel adhere to safe working practices.
Delegate works provided by the Principal or Lead Engineer.
Ensure all works are completed in line with approved RAMs and support defining any dynamic RAMs as required.
Support and attend all site meetings as directed by the Principal and/or Lead Engineer.
Organise and manage material ordering.
Perform competent electrical installations according to drawings.
Read and understand complex engineering drawings and schematics.
Install and modify cable trays, trunking, and conduits.
Install and modify power and data cables.
Wire power and control cabinets and associated equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical installation issues using root cause analysis and document resolutions.
Assist PLC and Robot programmers in troubleshooting installation and early commissioning issues.
Work weekends when required.
Skills and Experience Required of Electrician Supervisor

SSSTS/SMSTS Card.
Proven and demonstrable experience managing tradespersons in an industrial workplace.
BS7671 18th Electrical Regulations.
JIB Registered.
ECS GOLD Card Minimum.
IPAF 3a/3b.
Previous experience working on industrial electrical installation projects within a production or automotive environment.
Equipped with a comprehensive tool kit suitable for the role.
