Embedded Linux Engineer – £70k - £85k – semi remote - Reading

Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for an expanding Electronics manufacturer based in Reading now seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer to help deliver key projects for clients across a range of applications. You will be working as part of an experienced team to develop a range of bespoke products.

The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer ideally with experience working within distributed systems, wireless products or similar. This is for a Greenfield project so you will get the chance to see a product through from design to manufacture.

This is a Embedded Linux Engineer job focusing primarily on Linux Kernel Drivers as well as Userspace Linux.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ commercial Embedded software experience

  • Good commercial Embedded Linux experience working on Kernel Drivers

  • Excellent experience working on commercial C++

  • Good experience working on networking products, wireless systems or similar
