We are looking for an Embedded Test Engineer to join the R&D Test Team of a specialist robotics company in Redhill, Surrey. Embedded Test Engineers will develop the company’s firmware testing capabilities and work on improving and automating test scripts in Python.
 
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office, 2 from home after probation.
 
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintains the test automation framework and tools for firmware and
Runs automation and manual tests for new firmware and software
Develop and contribute towards firmware test process
Planning, organizing, and reporting on testing phases of
Performing regular testing of firmware as part of the release
Documenting test results and liaising with development
Setting up of heavy test equipment and rigs and in safe
Act as firmware technical expert for customers, stakeholders, and other teams.
Requirements:

Relevant degree in Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science or similar.
Strong skills in Python development.
Experience with both automated and manual testing of software and firmware
