Shifts: Monday to Friday days 37.5 hours

We are partnering with a world-class manufacturing company renowned for quality, investment, and exceptional workforce development. Due to continuous growth, they are seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer/ Engineering Team Leader to take a key role within their engineering team at a fully automated production facility.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to lead a team of multi-skilled maintenance technicians within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will optimise plant performance, manage maintenance activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring operational excellence.

Engineering Team Leader Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
Plan, schedule, and prioritise daily and weekly maintenance activities, including preventative, planned, and reactive tasks.
Collaborate with senior engineers and other departments to maintain plant reliability and performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement cost-effective engineering solutions.
Monitor maintenance procedures, engineering standards, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
Administer and review maintenance systems for trend analysis, reliability metrics, and budgeting.
Act as a mentor and coach, fostering the development of the team and promoting the role of Engineering Team Leader across the organisation.Engineering Team Leader Requirements:

Proven experience leading and managing maintenance teams in an automated or continuous process environment.
Multi-skilled across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineering disciplines.
Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
