About the Role:
As a Contract Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our production facilities meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will capture production facility requirements from across the business and oversee the entire process from conception to handover. Your expertise will help manage suppliers and ensure the successful installation and commissioning of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement cutting-edge production and final assembly facilities, equipment, and technologies, all while adhering to investment timelines.
Utilise Practical Problem Solving and Control techniques to proactively deliver solutions, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
Ensure all equipment complies with legal statutes, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
Deliver projects within agreed budget targets while effectively managing potential risks.
Generate deliverable milestones and meticulously monitor project plans to ensure smooth execution.

What we look for:
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience from a manufacturing engineer role, particularly in vehicle assembly processes. We are looking for someone who can highlight:

Proven experience with Final Assembly Production Facilities, including Automation Systems, Assembly Lines, Conveyors, Robots, and more.
Solid understanding of relevant Health and Safety legislation.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
Strong Project Management skills, with proficiency in software like MS Project for status tracking and reporting.
A positive attitude towards change, with a focus on maintaining Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills using Practical Problem-Solving techniques.
A minimum qualification of HND; an Engineering degree is preferred.
