Are you a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer or similar looking to begin your career designing control panels/electrical systems while gaining hands-on training and real project experience?

You'll be joining a specialist electrical engineering company that designs and builds custom control panels and systems used in real industrial environments. The business works with a wide range of industries, giving you exposure to different projects, hands-on experience, and the chance to learn from experienced engineers in a supportive team.

You will join a supportive design team, working on control panel and electrical system designs from concept through to manufacture. The role will involve producing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation, while learning industry standards and compliance processes such as CE marking and testing. You will also work closely with production and project teams to ensure designs are delivered accurately and efficiently.

This role would suit a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer looking to launch their career role that provides structured training, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to develop technical skills and a strong foundation within a supportive engineering team.

THE ROLE

  • Assist with the design of electrical control panels and systems
  • Produce electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Create bills of materials and supporting technical documentation
  • Support testing, fault finding, and commissioning activities
  • Learn and apply relevant electrical standards and compliance requirements
  • Liaise with Production, Project, and Engineering teams
  • Monday-Friday
